Last year, after much debate my husband brought the North Face VE-25 as a new tent for our family. We camp every other year and I was hesitant to invest too much money in the tent.
Many of our friends are avid campers and have spent hundreds of dollars on tents and equipment. I did not want to spend that much money on something I don't enjoy.
He researched and found a great North Face tent. I must say that I was wrong.
This was one of the best tent we could have purchased.
During a recent trip to Pennsylvania, we broke the tent out. No sooner had we set up camp, than the rain started. We expected rain, but not nearly as much as we received.
It poured for two of our three days camping and the North Face VE-25 kept us dry.
The tent was not very heavy at all and we were able to carry it without a problem. We camp primarily in cool areas.
A friend of ours who lives out West has the same tent. She prefers it for cooler areas and says that it is not well suited for drier climates.
However, she also agreed that there was none better in rainy weather. The tent has windows and comfortably slept our family of four without any issue.
It breathed well and we never had that heavy uncomfortable, humid air that can sometimes build up.
It was well worth the investment made to have the North Face VE-25!
It saved my sanity and my marriage!
