I have owned a Marmot Mercury camping tent for almost 10 years. It is a two person tent. It has a single door and now windows.
The upper half of the tent is mostly mesh, which gives excellent ventilation when the rain fly is not attached, but it does not give good privacy.
The rain fly is waterproof nylon and has two triangular plastic windows so that it is possible to look outside when the rain fly is attached.
My Marmot Mercury tent is a cheerful orange color.
Although it is a small tent, myself, my wife, and our dog sleep comfortably in it.
The rain fly can be staked out to provide a vestibule area for luggage or gear. There are mesh pockets on each side of the tent and a mesh pocket near the ceiling which is great for holding a flashlight.
The tent poles are very strong in a high wind and the rain fly can be adjusted to keep the tent quite dry, even in heavy rain. The bottom of the tent is a water resistant nylon.
To keep the bottom of the tent completely dry in heavy rain, it is necessary to also use a tarp underneath the footprint of the tent.
Our Marmot Mercury camping tent has held up well under rain, snow, wind, sunshine, and general wear and tear.
The tent came with a repair kit that includes pieces of all the fabrics you made need to repair. The repair kit also comes with extra stakes and rope.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my Marmot Mercury tent.
