The best tent that I have bought is the Eurohike Ness Tent, which is excellent value at only £30.
This two man camping tent has a built in groundsheet, which makes the setup of the tent a lot easier than most small tents. This is because they usually have the groundsheets made separately, so it would be more difficult to put in the right place.
Although it is only a two man tent, the Eurohike Ness is quite spacious inside.
It offers plenty of room for camp mats and full length sleeping bags.
Rucksacks would ideally be situated in the porch of the tent, where they would remain dry and out of the way to make more room for sleeping, but would be easily accessible by opening the zip.
The Eurohike Ness Tent takes around 10 minutes to erect and is an absolute dream to put up.
It has six guy lines, so this helps to keep it stable and prevent the tent from moving considerably and or blowing away in strong winds.
The lightweight tent poles make it ideal for backpackers, and I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t take up much space in my backpack.
I love having the space, the ease of use, and the porch, which allows me to have an extra space in which to put my rucksack in.
I can’t really think of any negative points about this 2 man tent, as I have never had any problems with it.
Due to the tent's design, it copes well with rain and also doesn’t sweat, so the inside of the tent is still dry. The inside remains dry even after very heavy periods of rain, which is good, as some small tents do not do this and you wake up in the morning soaked in condensation.
All in all, I strongly recommend the Eurohike Ness tent for anyone who goes to festivals, backpackers, or anyone who just wants a light, easy to erect tent.
